SABBATH COMMANDMENT  =  Exodus  20:  8- 11
Sabbath Statutes  =  LEVITICUS  23  &  DEUTERONOMY  16
PASSOVER  Statutes   =   EXODUS  12.    EXODUS 12 states benefits for keeping PASSOVER, penalty for not doing so & what to tell your children.

When your friends complain that it is a "sacrifice" and that the "Sacrificial System" was "done away" and "nailed on the cross @ Calvary", agree with them quickly.     Then ask them which came first-- PASSOVER or "Sacrificial System".     The "Sacrificial System" was organized at Mt. Sinai, after the 1st PASSOVER was celebrated, just before our Hebrew ancestors left Egypt.   PASSOVER pre-dates the "Sacrificial System".     The word translated "sacrifice" in EXODUS 12 is not the Hebrew word for pagan sacrifices.    Code-plead "sacrifice" through Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and you'll see.     The "Sacrificial System" was done by the priests; Passover is done by families.

PASSOVER is so important that if you fail to do it due to circumstances beyond your control, you can make it up in the 2nd month of the year, as NUMBERS 9 teaches.
GEN 1:14 sets the criteria for determining the days, Festivals and years.   Exodus 12: 1-3 directs the first of months to be Abib, which history reveals to be in that era the star-sign of the lamb.
